TrueQueer is an independent publication operated by withJZ LLC. We want to be fully transparent about how we make money and how that affects (or doesn't affect) our editorial coverage.

Affiliate Links

Some links on TrueQueer are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are used in accordance with the FTC's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.

Pages and articles that contain affiliate links will display a notice at the top that reads: "This article contains affiliate links." Posts with affiliate links are tagged with affiliateLinks: true in our content system.

Only Products We Use

We only recommend products, services, and tools that Jeff and Zachary personally use in their daily lives as full-time digital nomads. We do not accept payment to review products, and our editorial opinions are not influenced by whether a product has an affiliate program.

Our current affiliate partners include products in these categories:

  • Travel booking (Booking.com and others)
  • AI tools we use in our workflow

Editorial Independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence our news coverage or editorial decisions. We cover LGBTQ+ news, culture, travel, and community regardless of whether any topic has commercial value to us. Our journalism is funded by affiliate commissions — not by advertisers telling us what to write.

No Sponsored Content (Unless Labeled)

We do not currently publish sponsored posts or paid placements. If we ever do, they will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" and separated visually from editorial content.
